Geography & Climate of Delhi
Located on the banks of river Yamuna, Delhi consists of New Delhi (the national capital) and Old Delhi. The capital city is made up of nine districts. It is considered as the National Capital Territory of India and comprises three towns, namely New Delhi (the capital of India), Delhi and Delhi Cantonment.
Economy of New Delhi

It has three important railway stations - Delhi Junction, New Delhi Railway Station and Nizamuddin Railway Station. In terms of bus services, it has three inter-state bus terminals located at Kashmeri Gate, Sarai Kalen Khan and Anand Vihar. The Delhi Metro, a mass rapid transit system built and operated by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), serves many parts of Delhi. With the well connected routes of metro lines, Delhi will be the first city to have such finely associated transportation facility in the country.
Culture & Religion of Delhi
Hindi is the chief language spoken in the capital. Some of the other common languages spoken are English, Urdu, Bengali and Punjabi. Though the capital is known to be multi-ethnic and multi-cultural, but at the same time, it has a vast Indian bureaucracy incorporated into its political system. There are more than 160 embassies to cater to the needs of the increasing emigrant population of the country.
